Celebrating Our Town, Our Heroes
The Chicago Moms hosted a fun morning of pampering at Pinky Nails Chicago joined by our blogging mamas, friends and readers. As we recognized the heroes amongst us (all moms are heroes, you know!) we also learned about our sponsor Chevrolet’s program called Our Town, Our Heroes. This program is about celebrating the local heroes in our own town. This is a wonderful way to recognize and acknowledge those who are the true core of own communities. Through the Our Town, Our Heroes program, they will feature a new Illinois hometown hero every two weeks through the end of 2011 and can be found in their website http://DrivingtheMidwest.com.
