Family tea-time at The Peninsula Chicago

One of the best things about being a Chicago Mom is Chicago! We have the most beautiful skyline, hands down. Our downtown is so perky, and exciting, sometimes I simply take the “L” to Michigan Avenue to people watch.

I was so excited to spend the afternoon at the The Peninsula Chicago for afternoon tea with many of the other writers of The Chicago Moms. It was pure delight.

MJ Tam, of City Connect Media which owns and operates Chicagonista.com, and TheChicagoMoms.com, was instrumental in getting us a spot to the hottest tea-time in town. The Peninsula Chicago, 108 East Superior, provided trays of utter scrumptiousness. Maple glazed Dried Blueberry scones that melt in your mouth, Pretzel Bread Smoked Salmon, Golden Chocolate Tart, and of course delectable teas that lingered gently on the palate.

My favorite part of the afternoon? Peter the Bear! A family-friendly hotel and dining experience that was completely Chicago-style – warm, fuzzy and fun!
