Mo smells the ballparkMo Smells the Ballpark, A Mo’s Nose Book, written by Margaret Hyde and Nichelle Robinson, is a charming book about a pup’s first visit to a baseball park. What’s great about the book, designed for children from 3 – 6 years old, is that the story has empowering messages for both the person reading it and the child hearing it.

Illustrator Aman Chaudhary creates lovable pups who steal your heart page by page. As the dogs take the field, little ones will cheer for their favorite pups as they bat and run the bases. There’s a funny moment when the kids sing “Take me out to the ballgame.” The dogs are said to howl in tune.

The inspiration for Mo is a rescue pop Margaret Hyde’s best friend adopted. Throughout Mo Smells the Ballpark, A Mo’s Nose Book, Aman creates dogs on every page that make you want to bring home your own rescue dog.

The Mo’s Nose™ Scentsational book series follows a rescued dog named Mo through many adventures. The good news is that Mo is a busy, busy dog. Before heading to the ballpark, Mo spent time smelling everything from pumpkin pie in Mo Smells the Holidays to colors such as Mo Smells Green and Mo Smells Pink. Each book includes a scented sticker sheet. As Mo explores his world through scent, children can too. The Mo’s Nose™ series would be a great present for any child, and it’s a present you can feel good about giving.

A portion of the Mo’s Nose™ proceeds go to Best Friends Animal Society (www.BestFriends.org) and support their initiatives to provide homes for homeless pets. There’s a special section on the website dedicated to Friends of Mo’s, the Mo’s Nose philanthropic initiative, which explains the effort by saying, “Mo’s Nose™ believes the combined strength of our efforts will make the biggest difference in the world. Making these simple tips a regular part of your family and your child’s life are an important step in promoting the well-being and happiness of human (and animal) kind, the definition of Philanthropy.” Three simple steps provide inspiration for children and families to make their world better.

Mo Smells the Ballpark, A Mo’s Nose Book, is a fun addition to the Mo’s Nose™ Scentsational book series. Once you finish the story, you’ll want to read the entire series.
