An adult version is also available as of June 2017. Sharing in the real-life experience of the marathon runner and a stray dog who become unlikely companions while during the grueling Gobi Desert Run and then to find one another again after being separated in a city of more than 3 million people.

Before finding each other, Gobi the dog had been on her own. Dion knew nothing of the challenges Gobi faced, very similar to the circumstances we all face when we find new friends. We are never sure what our newest friends have been subjected to which amplifies the importance of being compassionate and loving.

The messages also included are themes such as  Adopt, Don’t ShopHope even when challenges are greatBe kindBe Courageous, and Learn about different places.
